Day 01 ::
Delhi- Goa (fly)
Fly to Goa. Met Upon arrival and transfer to pre booked hotel.
Day
02 :: Goa
Pickup at 7.00am and drive to Carambolim Lake. Birding by the Lake all
morning. After lunch a short tour of Old Goa Churches. Afternoon and
evening: Drive to a nearby village for more birding and spend the
evening birding near the causeway of the Lake. Drive back to your
hotel for overnight stay.
Day 03 Pickup at 6.00am and drive to Mayem
Lake. Morning: birding around Mayem Lake. Afternoon: Drive to Charao
Island. Cross the ferry and drive to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 04 :: Bondla
Pickup at 6.30am and drive to Fort Aguada. Birding and walk around the
Lighthouse. Afternoon: Drive to Bondla (inland). Evening: birding
around the zoo and the gardens. We will spend the last hour at the
reservoir looking for nightjars. Overnight stay at Bondla.
Day 05 :: Mollem
Bondla: Morning start at 6.30am Birding walk around the entrance and
approach road. Afternoon: Drive to Mollem. Evening: Birding along
Devils Cannon track and open field. Overnight stay at Mollem.
Day 06
Morning 6.30am drive to Tembdi Surla. Bird all morning. Afternoon
drive to Spice Plantation for Lunch. Drive back to the coast.
Day 07 :: Baga
Late morning (depends upon tides) Drive to Morjim Beach. Drive to Baga.
Evening birding at Baga fields and the Beira Mar Hotel poolside
overlooking the marsh. Return to your hotel for overnight stay.
Day 08
Pickup at 6.30am and drive to Pilerna Lake looking for forest and
water birds. Afternoon: Birding at Saligoa Zor. Return to your hotel
for overnight stay.
Day 09
Pickup at 6.30am dive to Agassim for boat trip to see Collored
Kingfisher and other birds. Afternoon: Santa Cruz Pools and Taligoa
fields. Return to hotel for overnight stay.
Day 10
Pickup at 6.30am drive to Divar Island, bird all morning. Afternoon:
Baga Fields and Beira Mar Hotel
Day 11
Pickup at 6.30am drive to Arpora Forest for morning birding.
Afternoon: Drive to Canaona. Evening: Walk around Hotel Molyma for
birding.
Day 12
Fullday Cotigao Wildlife Reserve. Return to Molyma Hotel for night
stay.
Day 13
Check out of Molyma Hotel. Morning: Birding at Velim lake, and
Chandranath Hill. Evening: Agassaïm. Overnight at your hotel.
Day 14
Pickup 6.30am drive to Cidade De Goa mash. Birding walk around the
place. Drive to Dona Paula Plateau to look for Larks and Yellow Wattle
Lapwing. Evening: Free for shopping.
Day 15
After breakfast (depending upon your flight time), check out of your
hotel and transfer to the airport.
Best time to visit is between
mid-October to April.
