Bhandavgarh National Park

Day 01 ::
Arrive at noon at Nature Heritage Resort. Afternoon drive to the jungle in an open jeep for animal viewing. Overnight in the resort.

Day 02 ::
Morning elephant ride / drive to the jungle for tiger tracking and bird watching. One can have good photographic opportunities. The jungle visits lasts for about three hours. Return to the resort for breakfast & lunch. One can walk around the surroundings or bird-watch. Afternoon drive to the jungle for animal viewing. Overnight stay in the resort

Day 03 ::
Morning elephant ride in the jungle. Depart for onward / return journey after breakfast

0700 Hr :: Departure from Agra
0830 Hr :: Arrival Ater on the bank of the River Chambal
0900 Hr :: Departure on Motorboats into the National Chambal Sanctuary for birding and wildlife viewing.
1200 Hr :: Return to Island Base Camp
1215 Hr :: Camel ride through the ravines to see the birdlife nesting in the mudwalls.
1315 Hr ::  Arrival at Island
1330 Hr :: Lunch. Relax, explore the fort for swift swallows, owls etc. or boat cruise for birding.
1600 Hr :: Departure for Agra
1730 Hr ::  Arrival Agra

National Chambal Sanctaury

Day 01 ::
Connect train from Delhi to Agra at 0600 hr. Arrive Agra at 0810 hr. and drive to Patna Bird Sanctuary (2 hr.). Full day birding with packed lunch. Proceed to Chambal Safari Lodge via Agra in the evening. Overnight at the lodge.

Day 02 ::
Patna is a small waterbody covering 2 sq. km. and is tremendously rich in migratory waterfowl and other species. More than 200 species have been recorded there. The birds allow close access and there are watch-towers for birding. Full day birding at River Chambal. Boat cruise & bird walks in the National Chambal Sanctuary for birding and wildlife viewing. This is the best river to see the Indian Skimmer and other water birds. There is a good population of gharial, mugger and six species of turtles. Return to Agra in the evening and connect train to Delhi at 2000 hr. Arrive Delhi at 2200 hr.

You can opt for a visit to Taj Mahal in the afternoon if you are willing to cut short the boat cruise after lunch

Dandeli Wildlife Sanctuary

Day 01 ::
Arrive at noon at Bison River Resort or Kali River Lodge. Afternoon drive to the jungle in an open jeep for animal viewing. Overnight in the resort.

Day 02 ::
Morning elephant ride / drive to the jungle for animal tracking and bird watching. One can have good photographic opportunities. The jungle visits lasts for about three hours. Day 03 ::
Morning boat-ride on river Dandeli flowing through jungle. Depart for onward / return journey after breakfast.

Little Rann of Kutch

Day 01 ::
Arrive by noon at the resort. Rest of the day to be spent in the sanctuary to watch the Asiatic Wild Ass. Overnight in the ‘Kooba’ at the Rann Riders

Day 02 ::
Morning drive to the flat plain of the Rann for watching wild ass, chinkara, wolves, gerbils etc. and bird watching. One can have good photographic opportunities. The jungle visits lasts for about three hours. Return to the resort for breakfast & lunch. One can walk around the surroundings or bird-watch. Afternoon drive to the jungle for better understanding of the ecology with respect to the threats faced due to salt extraction industry. Migration of tribes and nomads through the Rann. Overnight stay in the resort.

Day 03 ::
Morning drive to the Rann. Depart for onward / return journey after breakfast.

Kathmandu - Royal Chitwan Park - Pokhra - Delhi

Day 01 ::
Fly Delhi-Kathmandu (2 hr.) at noon. Arrive Kathmandu and transfer to the hotel. Guided tour of Kathmandu City. Overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 02 ::
Morning visit Swayambhunath stupa, Durbar square, Basantpur square, Kumari temple etc. Post lunch guided tour of Patan city visiting the king's old palace, hindu temples and a Buddhist golden temple. Overnight stay at the hotel

Day 03 ::
Connect morning flight to Chitwan National Park. Check-in at the lodge. Afternoon elephant safari at Royal Chitwan Park for nature watch. Overnight at a wildlife lodge at Chitwan National Park.

Day 04 ::
Early morning park visit on an elephant. Return for lunch. In the afternoon, set out for bird watching in the canoes. In the evening, a stick dance of the local people is organised. Overnight at a wildlife lodge at Chitwan National Park

Day 05 ::
Drive to Pokhra 'the valley of lakes' stopping enroute for river rafting (optional). Pokhra valley is scenic and exciting. It is covered by green hills, lakes, forests, rivers, water falls & terraced gardens. Rest of the day at leisure or a boat ride on Lake Phewa. Overnight at the hotel

Day 06 ::
Fly to Kathmandu in the morning. Guided tour of Pashupatinath temple, Boudhnath stupa and Bhaktapur city. Overnight at the hotel
